Megan Mahoney

Megan Mahoney is a theater artist living and working in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho. She trained in Musical Theater at CAP21 Conservatory in New York City and also holds a BA in Non Profit Theater Management from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

She has performed professionally all over the world as a principal singer for Holland America Line. Megan moved to Sun Valley to pursue an educational theater and music career. Currently she owns and operates her private voice studio, is the Director of the Middle School Drama Program at Sun Valley Community School, the Educational Director at Laughing Stock Theater Company, and a freelance teaching and performing artist for various theater companies in the valley including The Spot and St. Thomas Playhouse.

Megan is currently furthering her education as a teacher in training at IVA (Institute of Vocal Advancement) in the three year professional vocal pedagogy program, focusing on deepening her vocal technique skills to better serve her students.
