At Villain Academy, students will explore what makes a great stage villain through acting, movement, improv, music, and character creation. Using Viewpoints and physical theatre techniques, students will experiment with how villains move, speak, react, and command the stage before creating a completely original villain character of their own.

Throughout the workshop, students will put their characters to the test with improv games and scene work, then come together to learn a villainous song and dance number.

We’ll finish the afternoon with a short Villain Presentation for parents and families, featuring our newly created characters and musical number!
